At the core of OPSIS' solutions our two flagship products are Solicitor Case Manager, which provides Legal Case Management, while Millennium Accounts specialises in the provision of comprehensive Legal Accounting & Time Recording.

We then combine these two products to provide a total practice management solution with PMS (Practice Management Solution), or SPS (Small Practice System).

1 to 10 Users

For small legal practices and start-up firms we recommend the following solutions:-

Sole Practitioners - Millennium Solo (1 User)

Single-user Legal Accounting & Time Recording only

Millennium Solo is a stand-alone single-user legal accounts and time -recording package specifically tailored to meet the needs of sole practitioners and start up firms, to which the case management solution can be added at a later date.

Based on our Millennium Accounts system, it offers all the functionality of a comprehensive system, at a price you can afford, paid for in 12 monthly instalments by Direct Debit to help spread the cost.

Small Practice System (Up to 10 Users)

Legal Accounts, Time Recording & Case Management combined

SPS is a combined Legal Case Management and Accounts system designed specifically for smaller legal firms and start-up practices (up to 10 users) who do not have the resources available to implement and manage more expensive and complex systems.

SPS includes the 1st Cashier/Administrator User License, plus the required number of additional users.

The Accounts has provision for licensing options based upon 3 main types of users; Cashier, Assistants and Fee Earners, each of which has different tools for their daily work. Be sure to read the descriptions of the Millennium User Types.

Solicitor Case Manager is a comprehensive Legal Case Management System that can be used either standalone, or added at a later stage for those clients already using our Millennium accounts package so as to provide a fully compatible solution.

Solicitor is integrated with the functionality of Microsoft Word and Outlook ® which ensures familiarity and ease of usability for automated document preparation and management based on Precedent sets prepared for the legal work types of your practice.

Millennium Accounts (Up to 10 Users)

Legal Accounting & Time Recording only

Millennium Accounts is regarded as one of the best bookkeeping Legal Accounting solutions available to the Legal Profession, offering key performance and work in progress reports, together with an analysis of fee-earner time records, fee earner time gaps, time written-off, target reports, un-billed time and critical tasks, dates and cashflow forecasting.

Millennium is a powerful multi-user system fully compliant with both the Law Society rules, and the Legal Aid Franchising Quality Assurance Standards.

Millennium Accounts is available as a stand-alone system for those firms that either do not yet require or already have a case management system in place.

Of course Millennium can be complemented by the addition of Solicitor Case Manager at a later stage, effectively giving you the equivalent of our SPS system.

OPSIS Weblink is the innovative service from OPSIS that enables you to support your clients 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year without lifting a finger....

Learn how your company's web site can use Weblink to provide Online Case Information services to your Clients or partners such as Estate Agents, branded with your practice details and corporate logo.

You choose which Clients can enquire on their Case using the Internet-enabled website interface, where they can login securely and check progress, request documents, see stages and other information pertinent to their case type.

Whether you charge your Client's or provide it as a complementary service is up to you.

Anti Money Laundering

Protect your firm from money laundering

Additional modules can be enabled in our Practice Management System, Small Practice System and Solicitor Case Manager such as the sophisticated AML (Anti Money Laundering) module including automated SOCA form production.

Automatic production of the SOCA form, email alerts to Nominated officer when a fee earner raises a suspicion and a record of all trained staff are just a few of its features.

You can of course write your own procedure into the system workflows but we think Anti Money Laundering is one of the extra modules you can't really afford to be without.

Additional User Training

Our main systems include a number of days allocated which covers both installation and training, typically with the following format;

  • 1 day for installation, followed by a Project Implementation meeting
  • 3 days cashier/accounts training
  • 2 days customisation/case management user training (this may increase if two or more Starter Packs are taken).

Thereafter we offer additional user training on-site. Please contact us to book extra days.

Additional Letterhead Configuration

The precedent documents in the Case Management systems will utilise your practice's letterhead corporate branded logo, and address details.

This could affect many different precedent documents and therefore since this is a labour-intensive process can be performed on your behalf to ensure a consistent layout.

Transfer of existing Microsoft Outlook Contacts

Any contacts that you have listed within Microsoft Outlook can be transferred directly into the Solicitor Case Manager software with our Contacts import service.

Additional Bill Templates

The Millennium Accounts / Millennium Solo system comes with a range of standard bill templates but if you wish to have your own bespoke bill template or add an additional template to the system at a later date, then we can design and create this for you.

User Defined Reports

If within our extensive range of Millennium reports you can not find the one you are looking for we will be pleased to design and create a bespoke User Defined Report report for you. We will discuss the layout and information required on the report with you, then create and submit it for your approval.

Label Configuration

Using samples provided by you we will design a Label template and configure it so that your Millennium Accounts / Millennium Solo system will automatically print client/matter information onto labels of your choice, ready for use on case folders, etc.

Cheque Printing Configuration

Using samples provided by your Bank, we will design a template, configure and test-print from your Millennium Accounts / Millennium Solo system to automatically print cheques, laid out in the correct format, from either the Office or Client account. The process involves testing that the various parts of the cheque, payee, date, amounts in words and values all print consistently within the correct parts of the paper cheque, and that the printer aligns each cheque properly for the next cheque to be printed.

Statements

Using samples provided by you we will design a Statement template and configure it so that your Millennium Accounts / Millennium Solo system will automatically print statements to your specification.
