From your PC you can instantly access all aspects of the case history, client details, time recording and ledger activity.
You will never miss another meeting or forget to send a letter - all daily tasks will be automatically posted to your own individual, or team diaries. Dynamic two-way integration with Microsoft Outlook© means you have the option to action tasks from within case management or Outlook, however you prefer to work.
You can create your own case steps which contain a selection of appropriate tasks/reminders, forms, letters, etc. for that stage of the case. With one simple click, all this information is processed ensuring nothing is forgotten.
In one fully searchable central database you can store details of all your case contacts, e.g. counsel, experts, witnesses, estate agents, etc.
SPS includes a Precedent Starter Pack for your chosen work type. These precedents contain the appropriate merge fields to automatically generate your letters, and at the same time, dramatically reduce repetitive and routine typing. You can see a list of the available Starter Packs we offer in the PMS Precedent Sets page. Should you wish to use your own precedents then we will show you how to insert the required merge fields into your own documents to produce accurate personalised documents every time. Electronic communication is fast becoming the norm; SPS can produce and store all forms of electronic documentation including the option to convert case documents into emails. Produce and send letters, forms, emails and faxes directly from your desktop, attach incoming emails to a case and scan incoming post. This system manages all aspects of your case documents. |

SPS will record your time automatically as you work or, if you prefer, support staff can enter time from fee earner's time sheets. Either way you are guaranteed to capture more billable time. Flexible time recording options give each fee earner various methods of capturing their time entries, e.g. opening matters with automatic timers. For all those telephone interruptions, there is the one-click telephone timer and for manual timesheets quick data input onto the on-screen time sheet. A useful daily time sheet is automatically produced for each user displaying details for all time entries which can be easily edited from this point. Additionally all letters and forms can be set to capture fixed costs when produced automatically and to initialise a timer when they are being edited. SPS can cater for multiple charge rates per fee earner as well as fixed fees. |
